Pure Potassium Alum in two sizes: 3 ounce stone or 4 ounce stone with basket. Wet block with water and rub gently over skin then rinse off. Used after shaving to close pores or as an antiseptic for minor nicks and abrasions.

Works as intended
I use after shaving like the instructions suggest. Rinse off. Slight sting if I shave to aggressive (feedback) and I think it helps to heal. I have dry skin so also use the splash or balm depending on the time of year.

Em's Alum Block
After buying 3 "brand X" Alum blocks and finding them crumbly or poorly formed I was a bit skeptical when I found this non-typical good sized alum block here at Em's. Well rest assured I was extremely pleased when it arrived. The block is perfectly formed and fits well for it's intended purpose. A beautiful crystal with minor inclusions that are firm, intact and amazing to look at. If your looking for a really nice Alum block you won't be disappointed with this product.

Looks good on the bathroom vanity, works fine but the shape was a little hard to get used to. Otherwise, a five rating.
